Each block will fill an average sized wheelbarrow and is the sustainable alternative to peat moss.  Coco coir can be used as a sterile substrate or as part of mix to make your own potting soil.  Mixed in with heavy clay garden soils and your soils will improve from increased pore numbers and sizes (= better waterflow and aeration).
